We’re passionate about helping court reporting students transition from graduation to practicing professionals. Planet Institute provides vocational support to bridge that gap with one-on-one mentoring and professional development.
If you’re working on the final speed requirements to complete your program or you’re a new professional who’s graduated within the last six months, we encourage you to apply.
Planet Institute is a free mentoring program. It’s Planet Depos’ way of giving back to a valuable community that fulfills an important role.
Planet Institute lets participants go at their own pace. Many applicants hold outside jobs, so Planet Depos designed the program to be flexible enough to meet your needs. The process can last anywhere between one and six months, depending on your availability for shadowing sessions and your ability to provide transcripts for review.
Planet Depos works with highly trained reporters who are eager to share their experience. If you select a day for shadowing and one of those reporters is on the calendar, the team will assign you a session to receive invaluable feedback from a working professional.
Planet Institute’s graduation numbers are very high, thanks to students’ eagerness to move forward and progress quickly. Since all reporters at Planet Depos are independent contractors, the program does not offer job placement. But every Planet Institute graduate is invited to onboard with Planet Depos as an independent contractor to cover work in their area when it becomes available.
